About Us
Our mission is to provide inclusive, welcoming social experiences for autistic adults through events like karaoke, trivia, game nights, creative workshops, and more. We focus on connection, fun, and authenticity — without judgment or unrealistic expectations.
Our Story
Bridge the Spectrum is a community-first organization created through lived experience and a commitment to inclusion for autistic adults.
Co-founded by Annmarie Houle and her son, Evan Volpert, the organization addresses a critical gap in social opportunities for autistic adults.
Evan is on the autism spectrum and, like many others, has experienced social barriers and limited access to inclusive environments. As he transitioned into adulthood, opportunities for connection decreased, despite the continued need for community and belonging.
Through her experience as a mother and advocate, Annmarie recognized the need for safe, welcoming, and pressure-free spaces. Bridge the Spectrum was created to meet that need.
Together, Annmarie and Evan are building programs with autistic adults, fostering connection, confidence, and community.
